The program is available to independent agents. Like most markets, DealerGuard will recognize a standard broker of record letter in favor of any broker or agent with whom we have a producer agreement. Absent a BOR, we will quote the same risk for multiple producers regardless of whose submission is received first. However, if the first complete submission we receive is from one of our “preferred producers”, we are committed to that production source exclusively.

To Obtain A Quotation

Simply mail or fax a submission to DealerGuard. The submission must be complete and meet the underwriting guidelines and eligibility criteria. The typical turnaround time to quote fully complete submissions is 3-5 days. All submissions should include the following:

• Completed Vehicle Inventory Protection Application
  and/or
• Completed Hail Exchange Application
• Three years of currently valued, hard copy, carrier loss runs (a loss summary and/or list of loss codes is most helpful)
• Complete inventory listing for all non-franchised dealers (copy of a recent monthly balance sheet is acceptable from franchised dealers).
