Vehicle Inventory Protection
  • Our core offering: broad form physical damage including comprehensive, collision/upset and deception, or "false pretense." Coverage is available to individual dealerships through affiliated producers and directly to association and/or finance company sponsored dealer groups, nationwide.

Program features include:

  • Limited collateral protection insurance provided at no additional cost
  • Dealer trades covered without prior notification
  • Driveaway collision provided without mileage limitation
  • Coverage for consignment vehicles and lease trade-ins
  • Automatic coverage at tent sales, auction sites, trade shows, etc.
  • Standard program limits up to $50,000,000 per location, $750,000 per vehicle (higher limits available on request)

But the situation is particularly acute for those in the "hail belt", which is why we developed TheHailExchange as a supplement to our core physical damage offering. This innovative product addresses the inventory insurance needs of dealers who have just sustained catastrophic hail loss or are located in areas where hail is recognized as a chronic threat… exactly the type of risk other insurance companies are doing their utmost to avoid.

Program features:

  • Designed for new and used automobile dealers located in hail prone geographical areas.
  • Monoline auto physical damage insuring against the single peril of hail.
  • All private passenger autos and light-medium duty trucks valued up to $100,000 are eligible
  • Optional deductibles beginning as low as $3,500 per occurrence
  • Claims adjusted based on repair method selected by insured (conventional body shop or paintless dent removal)
  • Optional consequential loss protection covering delay/extra expense available up to a maximum of 25% of repair cost
  • Off-location vehicles automatically covered up to 10% of total inventory
  • May be dovetailed to wrap around other coverage provided by insured's floor planner or package carrier, or used to "buy-down" the deductible under such other coverages
  • Available in AL, AR, AZ, CO, IA, ID, IL, KS, LA, MN, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OK, SD, TX WI and WY.
  • Minimum policy premium $1,000
